Well that’s it from us for another week and we leave you dear reader with a new video for a song from the new album by Charley Crockett “Lonesome Drifter” which we glowingly reviewed earlier this week, saying that “This vibrant, confident and thoroughly engaging record may just be his best so far.” Pick of the crop for me is this tune which trundles along nicely before a banjo kicks in midpoint and the tempo moves up a notch, as always the video is a hoot too. We basically can’t get enough of Charley round these parts, here’s hoping he heads to these shores at some point this year – we’ll give you sanctuary if you need it.
