Patterson was great at Union Chapel. A mixture of new songs off his new solo record and some old Truckers favourites. He finished with a rousing version of Benny and the Jets..excellent night..

Yeah, that's something I would have loved to go to also, Union Chapel is a really cool venue. I have only been there once to see Jesse Malin which was... um, a long time ago now, I think it was when they first started having gigs to try and raise the money to fix the issues with the building but I could be wrong about that. They did serve tea and homemade sandwiches in the break though, which was unique for a gig!

loved the story telling between the songs - always interesting to know the influences etc.

The chapel really suited the acoustic guitar and piano presentation.
