@richardparkinson I first saw Starry Eyed and Laughing when they were third on a bill headlined by the Groundhogs at Middlesbrough town hall. I wasn’t too impressed at the time, due to my own naivety rather than the performance, but the penny did eventually drop. Second on that bill was Mick Abrahams, ex Jerry Tull, who sadly died a few days ago.
I know I'm a bit obsessed with them at the moment but I love this song so much
