Just listening to some of the GRAMMY winners, I know music is in the eye of the beholder but just bizarre Zach Top beat Charlie Crockett, Margo Price and Lukas Nelson in the best traditional country album category, it's just so bland and formulaic, really boring. Don't get me started on Jelly Roll beating Tyler Childers...

You can't dangle a carrot like that in front of me and not expect me to make the most of it...
The music business left to its own devices goes for bland safe music to maximise audience penetration and sales. Real traditional country had a connection with its intended audience and therefore an authenticity. Today, what is marketed as country is going for biggest audience it can get.
PS Villers needs no more encouragement in his musical dogmatism.
I think he may have selectively used my words Martin 🤣
He did and he always will even when given only a glimmer of a chance.
