Robert Plant and Saving Grace have announced a ten-date UK Tour for this December. Look upon it as an early Christmas present. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, September 18th at 10:00 am BST. The 10-date tour kicks off Monday, December 8th at the Portsmouth Guildhall and finishes December 23rd in York at the Barbican. They play London’s Royal Festival Hall on December 11th.
If you want to get in early for the new album, “Saving Grace”, which comes out September 26th, as well as priority tickets, use this link. Burr Island will be special guests for the tour.
The album, “Saving Grace”, is being released on Nonesuch Records. Plant calls this ten-track collection “a song book of the lost and found”. It features his new band: vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown. They have spent the last six years growing into a wide-ranging workshop of styles and personalities, “weaving through time and circumstance with joy and abandon”. You can listen to the track ‘Chevrolet’ below.
