Grant Lee Philips announces new album – new single out now

Grant-Lee Philips, of Grant-Lee Buffalo, has announced his latest album, ‘All That You Can Dream‘ will be released on May 20th on Yep Roc. This, his 11th album, comes soon after 2020 album ‘Lightning, Show us Your Stuff. Produced, engineered, mixed, and recorded by Phillips at his Nashville home, he was joined on the album by a seasoned session band who have played with Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Ray LaMontagne, and Bruce Springsteen. ‘All That You Can Dream‘ includes the new single ‘A Sudden Place’, a song written about the burning of Notre Dame Cathedral.
I found respite in the process when I could do little else“, says Grant-Lee Phillips of the album”, “It became a sort of meditation on this time in my life and the events we’ve collectively experienced. “We’ve experienced some staggering events over the last year or “so“, offers Phillips”, “When people speak of those things it’s not enough to simply highlight or underline the headlines of the day. The aim is to tap into the feelings that we share that are trapped beneath our skin—and figure out how we expel those feelings by talking about them.“.
