Grant Lee Phillips “The Wilderness” – Listen

Grant Lee Phillips nee Buffalo has got a new album out on Yep Roc on Feb 23rd called “Widdershins” and following on from his first single, Totally You Gunslinger, Phillips has now shared a new track from his album – The Wildnerness which feels like a suitable sentiment for the Middle East peace process amongst other things right now. Phillips explains, “There’s a dangerous tribalism, something in our nature that falls prey to hazy conclusions. Allies and adversaries are assigned accordingly, us vs. them. It’s a trait so easily aroused and vulnerable to manipulation. As the song goes, we never left the wilderness.”
