Former Stands frontman Howie Payne has lifted this new version of ‘Some Weekend Night’ from the forthcoming boxset ‘The Stands Recordings 2003-2005’, due for release June 23rd on limited edition vinyl. The serious Ennio Morricone guitar vibes here come from Noel Gallagher, a longstanding fan of Howie’s, and hey, how we can resist a track from our Scouse comrades?
