20 years after its initial release, the lovely people at Loose Music are celebrating the Handsome Family’s iconic record “Through The Trees” with a 20th Anniversary Edition, to be released on 9th March. With the original release receiving wide acclaim, including being hailed as one of the ‘10 Essential Americana Records of All Time’ by MOJO, the re-release will be on “sky-blue coloured” vinyl and also feature an exclusive “Invisible Trees” bonus CD, comprising of 15 tracks of “out-takes, live performances and bickering”.
The Handsome Family will also be incorporating much of the album on their upcoming extensive European tour, where tickets are now on sale via loosemusic.com/live
In the meantime this was always my favourite track from the record. Hair-raising.
