Pokey LaFarge has released The Thing via his own Boxer Boy Records. An official music video, directed by Jacob Butler (LA LOM, Paul Cauthen), will be featured in Americana UK’s video section shortly. The Thing is the latest single and opening track from LaFarge’s e new album, Rent Money, which comes out on September 11 2026. The Roseline is a roots-rock band from Lawrence, Kansas.
They have released nine LPs, including one live album, to date. They started out as a fairly delicate little acoustic trio and have since evolved into more of a heartland rock five-piece.
The Roseline is releasing a new album titled 86 Gumption on August 7 2026. They have announced a series of shows in the UK and Europe to promote it. These will be solo shows featuring The Roseline frontman Colin Halliburton. Dates are listed below, and you can find tickets here.
