The UK’s Maverick Festival has announced that the 2024 event will take place in the barns and fields of Easton Farm Park, Suffolk from Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th July. The festival which is in its seventeenth iteration showcases artists from both sides of the Atlantic and beyond over six stages indoors and out, presenting music, dance and masterclasses. The first acts have been announced including Canadian alt-country favourites The Sadies, author and singer songwriter Tara MacLean as well as her fellow Maritimes act Catherine MacLellan plus activist and performer Diana Jones from the US.
They are joined by the Americana Music Association UK’s 2024 artist and album of the year winner Michelle Stodart and two for the price of one Australian acts Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes and The Pleasures whose debut album last year, ‘The Beginning Of The End’, hit several year-end best of lists. We have previously been at Maverick ourselves and loved the positive vibes – back in 2022, AUK’s Andrew Frolish described it as ” joyful and communal. It was a memorable experience for an extended family of music-lovers.” You can find full details of the line-up for this year so far, plus ticketing and other festival information over at Maverick’s official website here.
