‘Still on My Mind‘ was written in the summer of 2021, and was developed at the kitchen table, at rehearsal and during walks around Oslo. Kirkeng brought the rhythm section from his debut album – Tor Egil Kreken and Thomas Gallatin (of Darling West) and Sander Eriksen – to the legendary studio Athletic Sound in Halden, where they further sculpted the arrangements.
