Ramblin’ Roots Revue returns! Here’s the full line up

Now in their third year, The Ramblin’ Roots Revue, one of the UK’s biggest weekends of Americana, roots and alt-country music (and there are a few of them now) have announced their line up which includes 40 acts from the across UK, USA, Canada, Ireland and mainland Europe. The full line up which takes place in Bucks from 12th-14th April 2019 is listed below but includes UK americana luminaries including William the Conqueror (much nicer than the historical figure), Curse of Lono (a curse you would actually want to be afflicted with) and Peter Bruntnell’s band featuring the superb BJ Cole. Other class acts include Austin Lucas (not actually from Austin) and Ethan Johns who’s worked with Crosby, Still and Nash and Emmylou Harris among others.

The event has an extensive range of craft beers, local real ales, artisan whiskies and small batch gin accompanied by Smokehouse BBQ, Tex-Mex Specialties and a cracking cream tea, along with “late night jams, after parties with specially selected DJs and fantastic community feel as you’re surrounded by genuine music lovers.”

The Ramblin’ Roots Revue is all held in Bucks Students’ Unions award winning venue. Holder of the Gold “Best Bar None” award for customer service and corporate social responsibility, the venue has previously been recognised as promoting the leading live music provision in the UK. So basically you’re going to be warm, near facilities and have good parking.  Day tickets are now on sale, and the full weekend is still only £40.  More details including tickets is available at the RRR website here.
