Something for the weekend: Gaslight Anthem “Autumn”

Well that’s it from us for another week dear reader and we leave you with a seasonal song that this weekend’s Mediterranean weather in the UK will ruin the atmosphere of but still, you can always close your curtains and stand under a lukewarm shower if you want the proper vibe. After years of hibernation, The Gaslight Anthem have returned with a more mellow sound than we’re perhaps used to in the form of new song ‘Autumn’. It’s the next single from the band’s forthcoming record ‘Little Fires’, the first full Gaslight Anthem album in almost 10 years since ‘Get Hurt’  which was released back in 2014. Frontman frontman Brian Fallon comments: “I wrote that song on a really beautiful fall day, looking out the window and thinking, ‘How many days like this do we get to see? So much of life is just trying to get by, but every now and then, you have those moments where you can really feel grateful for the small things”. Amen to that. Have a good one
