That’s it for another week dear reader and we leave you with a new song taken from the deluxe edition of Margo Price’s ‘That’s How Rumors Get Started’ which is out today and adds eight new recordings to the album. Alongside all ten of the record’s original songs, the expanded collection now features the previously unheard ‘Going To The Country,’ resurrected from the LP’s early sessions led by Price, David Ferguson and producer Sturgill Simpson. Bonus tracks also include 2021 single ‘Long Live The King,’ covers of Linda Rondstadt’s ‘You’re No Good,’ Lesley Gore’s ‘You Don’t Own Me’ and Bobbie Gentry’s ‘He Made a Woman Out Of Me’, as well as the track ‘Later On’ which you can listen to below – it features Austin’s Band of Heathens, and is a song which her record club subscribers will recognise – and on this evidence, reason in itself to sign up (but only after becoming an AUK supporter of course). Have a good one.
