Seth Swirsky comes with some high profile recommendations – Susanna Hoffs no less says of Seth’s music: “It’s a sonic bouquet of delicious melodies, melt-in–your-mouth harmonies, warm butterscotch guitars that jangle and shine — made with love and reverence for the music of the golden age of pop — guaranteed to raise a smile!” And there’s an echo of the jangle guitar of The Bangles – and of course earlier bands that we don’t need to mention – in this latest song ‘I Don’t Wanna Lose You.‘ Seth is also the founding member of the retro-pop band The Red Button, who have scored “The Coolest Song in the World This Week,” 4 times on Little Steven’s Underground Garage Sirius radio show. That’s pretty cool.
‘I Don’t Wanna Lose You‘ comes from Seth’s new, 4th solo album, ‘Songs from The Green Couch’ which is out April 8th via Lolipop Records. Speaking of the new song he told us: “This song is pretty straightforward and something many of us have experienced: being broken up with someone you thought was your ‘person’ and realizing how much you still love them and wanting to try to work things out. I did that through this song to my ‘person’ and it struck the right chord (no pun intended) and we got back together.”
