The Sheepdogs “Keep Out Of The Storm” – avoid the bad times

It’s ok, dear reader, the Video Editor has okayed the use of the new, slightly animated video from The Sheepdogs, so we don’t have to worry about a disgruntled picket line preventing anyone from pressing the play button (we trust you, you wouldn’t cross a picket line).

Keep Out Of The Storm’ is the latest single from the new album of the same name from The Sheepdogs, which will be out on 27th February on the band’s Right On Records label. What does it sound like? Classic churning and duelling guitars, plenty of riffage and a bottom end that just keeps going. So, it sounds like The Sheepdogs. Does the song carry a subliminal hidden message? Well, band frontman Ewan Currie states, “We’re all trying to weather the storms in our lives…finding shelter, love, hope. This song is about that search, and the belief that rock ’n’ roll can still be a sanctuary.

You’ll recall there’s also an upcoming tour this year – you can read about that right over here.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
