Track Premiere: Amanda Grace “Tears Upon My Hands”

Amanda Grace makes all sorts of music – she’s the solo singer-songwriter, she rocks out with the Amanda Grace Band and as a member of Wildflower takes on a folky group vibe.  ‘Tears Upon My Hands‘ is taken from her new album ‘Please Dear Sun‘ which is out tomorrow and which sees Amanda Grace try to make sense of the very strange times through which we have been living.

Speaking of this track, Amanda Grace told Americana UK that “’Tears Upon My Hands’ is about my childhood roots; my dad was from an outer area of London, England and I think he’d like that verse about him. He passed away 3 years ago and I believe we honour the memory of those who have passed by talking about them and taking time to remember them.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
