Beebe Gallini brings a new light to classic garage rock on their new album ‘Begged, Borrowed And Stealed‘, from which comes today’s version of ‘Run, Run, Run‘ originally by The Gestures. It’s the second release from the band that hails from St. Paul, MN, and appropriately enough, was recorded at Kay Bank Studios in Minneapolis, a place rich in musical history and noteworthy as the studio which saw The Trashmen record the legendary ‘Surfin’ Bird.’ Vinyl heads may also want to note that the record is being released on that medium.
But who are Beebe Gallini? Well, there’s Miss Georgia Peach on lead vocals and guitar, Amy Larson Pearson on bass and backing vocals, Travis Ramin providing drums, and, in the live band, Mike Bennett on lead guitar. On ‘Run, Run, Run‘, Keith Patterson features on lead guitar.
And if you’re wondering why the band name sounds familiar – bad news, you may be an over-avid viewer of ‘The Brady Bunch‘, where Mike once had a hard-to-please-but but fun-loving client called… Beebe Gallini. Groovy.
