Triptides “It Won’t Hurt You” – Listen

It Won’t Hurt You‘ is a song that was made to define the phrase “Byrdsian jangle”, as Triptides freely admit.  It’s taken from their upcoming album ‘Alter Echoes‘ which showcases the LA band’s blend of Byrds and early Pink Floyd stylings.  Although the final solo on ‘It Won’t Hurt You‘ is very Love.

Triptides is multi-instrumentalist Glenn Brigman, drummer Brendan Peleo-Lazar and bassist/guitarist Stephen Burns.  ‘Alter Echoes‘ will be released on limited vinyl and digital / streaming platforms on March 19th via Alive Naturalsound Records.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
