Video Premiere: Adam Williams “Downtown”

The music is rich, warm and tuneful on this brand new release from Adam Williams.  Masterfully written, the song builds with layers of instrumentation, including the guitar solos, which rise out of the melody and tone of the song.  Born and bred in Seattle, Williams felt compelled to write about his hometown and the state it’s in.  ‘Downtown’ is about that conflict between his home and the fact that it feels less and less like home.

Reflecting the need for real human connection in the city, the video for ‘Downtown’ features footage of family and friends – those closest to Williams’ heart.  It’s well produced, engaging and heartfelt stuff.  The song, with its expansive arrangements and melodious guitar, is reflective of Williams’ work.  check out the new album, ‘Creatures’, released in March this year.
