The latest release from Andrew Weiss and Friends is the opening song from their new album, ‘The Golden Age of Love & Chemistry’. The song is a tribute to Tom Petty’s ‘An American Treasure’ and Weiss describes it as, “…an attempt at writing a song that Petty might have written in 1981 or ’82,” which gives a sense of what to expect. Directed by Steve Irons, the video showcases the band’s live performance of the song, which is foot-tapping and feel-good. A multi-instrumentalist, Andrew Weiss is a self-taught talent. Look out for the album, due on 27th March.
