Video premiere: Brad Peterson “Unbroken”

Chicago based singer-songwriter Brad Peterson has been described as “exemplifying the ethos of the independent-intrepid musician” and this new track from him is lovely, buzzing with nice harmonies and a bit of jangle. He told us: “I often consider the image of Saint Paul’s Cathedral in London, which stood unbroken amongst the rubble and ruins after the blitz in 1940. Winston Churchill said: “If you’re going through hell, keep going…” This idea is applicable to my own life and playing my drum kit has become a form of therapy -both physically and mentally. Unbroken was born out of a rhythmic exercise.” Note this is probably the first and last time we’ll have a quote from a Tory politician gracing the site, although every time someone gives you a fiver now he’s unavoidable – que sera, sera.
