Video Premiere: Haymakers “A Lot of Good Girls (Will Go Bad)”

Featuring beautiful mandolin and harmony vocals, the premiere of Haymakers’ ‘A Lot of Good Girls (Will Go Bad)’ will have you tapping your feet.  This is the first single from the upcoming album, ‘Live at the Art Church’ and showcases what Haymakers do best: entertaining their audiences as a jamming string-band.  Haymakers’ music – both traditional songs and original compositions – incorporates a range of genres, including bluegrass, folk, Appalachian mountain music and western swing.  With upright bass, guitar, harmonica and a superb mandolin section, their expertly performed blend of instruments is perfect for live settings, so the band’s new live album fills the gap left by a pandemic-interrupted touring schedule.  The songs included cover the range from upbeat celebrations to slower, more reflective numbers, just as you’d expect in a live show.  Check it out and imagine that you’re watching the band jam over in Kansas.  Enjoy.
