Video: TT “My Confession”

The new single from LA-based troubadour TT is a catchy, memorable song that feels immediately familiar.  “My Confession” builds on a brilliant rhythm, over which a compelling tune and soaring chorus hook you in.  The highlight is simply TT’s vocal performance: the energy and passion with which he sings is inspiring.  The well-crafted song is accompanied by an artful, cinematic video that helps to tell the tale of hardship.

TT explains the concept behind the song and video: “There have been many times in my deeper relationships (and not just romantic) when I have felt inadequate. Deep down, I just want to care for those I love, whether that’s a partner, children, friends, or others in need, and I struggle with feeling like I never give enough.  ‘My Confession’ tells the story of a man struggling with that feeling of hopelessness as he and his wife find themselves facing financial hardship. The strength of their bond keeps them together through the tough times, but he feels like he is failing the person he loves, who remains a rock and a loyal companion. The song is his way of confessing that his perceived failures feel like a great sin, and acknowledging his gratitude for her support and forgiveness.”

As a child, TT was diagnosed with a chronic, life-limiting kidney condition that led to considerable pain and trauma.  He immersed himself in music for relief and release.  Inspired by a range of genres, he has put together his first album, which explores his personal experiences.  He says: “There’s an overall feeling of using the time you have left.  These are experiences and words that I hope everyone can relate to. We’re all human. We all struggle with these issues. We all have mortality.”  It’s thoughtful, emotive music – check it out.  “My Confession” is taken from TT’s debut album, “Man on the Corner”, which is out on 17th January 2025.  Pre-save the album here.
