Back in August of last year AUK chose to leave X, the social platform formerly known as Twitter. You can probably guess the reasons why but, if not, read our decision here. We remain on Instagram and Threads (find us at americana_uk_) but we’ve now taken the plunge and joined the emerging alternative to X, namely Bluesky. For those not familiar with the platform it’s a bit like Twitter was once upon a time before the Space Nazi car assembler took over and is largely non toxic and welcoming. Our Bluesky handle is americanauk.bsky.social and we’d love to have, at least, some of our 10k followers on X (aside from the neo fascists, and yes, there were a few) join us there.
