Red Rooster has announced the first wave of artists performing at its eighth festival of Americana in 2023. Among the names announced is the Grammy award-winning blues artist Fantastic Negrito who had a new album ‘White Jesus Black Problems‘ last year. Red Rooster will host Nikki Lane after her successful (Josh Homme-produced) record ‘Denim & Diamonds‘. New Yorkers Daddy Long Legs and Jesse Malin will return to the Suffolk festival, and GA-20, The Nude Party, and The Arlenes will be welcomed to the stages for the first time. Other names set to delight include Finnish band Us and King Salami and The Cumberland 3.
The festival will take place on 1st – 3rd June 2023, and will once again bring Cajun, Soul, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues, Roots and Country to the heart of the Suffolk countryside.
