An established staple of the duo’s live set, In The Past was originally written in 2021 and, while it’s evolved since then, it retains the spirit and purpose of that first version. The song explores feelings of acceptance and forgiveness, learning to put negative experiences behind us and move forward in our lives.
Grainy footage, kaleidoscope effects and vintage touches, like the record player, give the video nostalgic, retro feel, fitting for a song that is so reflective.
