Bonny Light Horseman “Exile” – worse than getting sent to Coventry….

So, the editor was berating me – “what about the new single from Bonny Light Horseman?  How come it isn’t scheduled?”  To which, quite naturally I replied “Bonny Light Horseman?  The greatest psychedelic-tinged folk-rock band in the world?  Yeah, I have run all their new singles, they are uniformly superb and I could not be more excited about their new album ‘Rolling Golden Holy’ which is out on October 7th.”  That put him in his place.

All of them, huh?
Uh-huh“.
Na-huh.  Where’s ‘Exile’?  Goddamn it, it has been out for almost 24 hours and not a sight of it.

And you know what, he was right. But that oversight gets remedied right here and right now.  Hold onto your hats folks, ‘cos here comes the new single from the greatest psychedelic-tinged folk-rock band in the world.

And here’s the bonus – they tour the UK relatively soon:

4 Feb 2023 – Leeds – Brudenell Social Club
5 Feb 2023 – Glasgow – St. Luke’s (Celtic Connections)
6 Feb 2023 – Manchester – Band On The Wall
7 Feb 2023 – London – Union Chapel

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
