Has anybody here ever see the film made by Zalman King about Dale Watson, entitled 'Crazy Again'? It was released in 2006, but seems only ever to have been shown at festivals - and I don't think it's ever been available in the UK.
If anybody has information about how it can be viewed here, I would be delighted to hear it.
Some further information about the film is available at the following links:

There used to be short trailer for the film available on YouTube which, among other things, showed Dale turning up at Ginny's Little Longhorn Saloon on his Indian motorcycle. But even that short clip now seems to have disappeared.
Thanks in advance for any information.
Here you go.
@altritico Thank you very much indeed! I have wanted to see that film for twenty years!
My pleasure. Keep your eye out for my interview with Dale - coming soon to AUK!
@altritico Many thanks again. (And apologies for what might have seemed like a slow initial response: I wasn't receiving email notifications about posts, so I didn't see your reply here until a few days after you'd sent it.)
I very much look forward to reading your interview with Dale. I have been a big fan of his since the "Cheatin' Heart Attack" days, and have seen him live countless times, both here in the UK, and in the US. He is the real deal, and I consider myself lucky to have been able to follow his career.
The film for me is now very poignant. My own wife - also a big fan of Dale's - died a couple of years ago. I am sorry that she never got to see the film: she wanted to, but we were never able to get hold of it.
Some of the reflections about death - and grief - in the film, were very difficult for me to watch. But we all know that we have to try to carry on - even when that seems impossible. So I will take inspiration from it.
Thanks again - and all the very best to you.
Thank you for your message. I was moved by your story and your openness.
Dale is very upfront about the challenges of dealing with grief. We spoke at length about it, and some of that conversation made it into the article. I hope that may help you in your journey.
The film “Crazy Again” only tells part of Dale’s story - he continued to deal with the loss of Terri for years to come, and he recently published a book, “I’d Deal With the Devil to Get Her Back,” which is honest and at times painful to read (or, in my case, listen to the audiobook he narrated himself). It’s available on Audible through Amazon.
You should probably read my article before you take the leap into the book. Dale and I discussed it at length. He hasn’t yet done a lot of press to promote the book (he’s incredibly busy with a lot of projects), but he intends to soon. I don’t intend to “warn you off” of reading it, because I found it to be extraordinary and generous. But it’s a hard read.
Dale is a decent, kind, down-to-earth guy, always has been. And he’s in a great place in his life now. He’s married to a gal he loves dearly, and he’s still on the road doing what he loves.
He very much wants to be a positive influence on others suffering through their own experiences, and to help others in general. And he’s living proof that there can be happiness and joy in life beyond loss.
Thank you very much.
Now that I have (finally!) seen the film, I see that Dale promised that - if he made it through the experience of losing Terri - he would both make an album, and write a book. I have a copy of the album which he made in that respect - namely, 'Help Your Lord' - but I had never previously heard about his undertaking to write an associated book. But, now that I know about it, I will seek it out. I will, however, take your advice - and I will read your article first. I look forward to it.
All told, this has been a completely unexpected and serendipitous exchange. As mentioned already, I have been wanting to see the 'Crazy Again' film for twenty years, and I have pursued many avenues to do that - so I finally got there.
Thank you very much for your replies. All the very best!
