If it's November it's time for 30 Days of the Dead. Since All Saints Day the band has been posting free downloads of live tracks from throughout their 30 year career arc on their website www.dead.net.
They may be considered a bit Marmite but as they say you're either on the bus or you're not. Or as the late Bill Graham put it "They're not the best at what they do they're the only ones that do what they do".

- That's timely. I listened to the Grateful Dead for the first time ever last night, Workingmen's Dead which l believe is one of their more "country" albums. I'll have a listen to these tracks too.
