Karla Kane “Goodguy Sun” – Listen

It’s pretty neat to work with one of your musical heroes, and Karla Kane had already recorded with Martin Newell, but when he passed across a song demo and suggested she might like to record it Karla Kane was cock-a-hoop, or as the Californian puts it “He…thought it might suit me. Well, when your songwriting idol says that, you take notice!“.  ‘Goodguy Sun‘ is a glorious mix of West Coast pop and anglophile lyrics, perfectly fitting the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.
