Lola Wild “Here I Go” – here I come again…

London based Lola Wild will be releasing her debut EP, ‘Get Up‘, on January 26th via Tip Top Recordings – it’s a four track release, including today’s song ‘Here I Go‘,  featuring Robert Chaney. Lola has described the song saying, “I feel this is a relatable song for most people who have experienced a negative and frustrating shift in their relationship, showing signs of emotional separation and the disappointment that often arises when our desires are not being met. It implies a sense of resignation and a fear that you are missing out on something else.”

There’s something of  retro-vibe to ‘Here I Go‘, recalling the music of the late Fifties or early Sixties, with a blend of detached cool and despair at an unsolvable situation.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
