Morsel “Four Wheels” – heading down the road with no plan

Four Wheels‘ is the third single from ‘On A Bee Line‘, the second album from Denver based rootsy jam-band Morsel,  who merge the acoustic and the electric on this pacey paean to escaping at pace down a road – be it dusty or otherwise – heading out at speed being the main part of the plan.

Morsel’s mandolinist and vocalist  Scottie Bolin noted that “I wrote this song just a few days after we opened for Trampled By Turtles at the Dillon Amphitheater, which was one of the most memorable nights of my life. This was also just a few weeks before Morsel’s third tour and I was definitely feeling inspired and ready to hit the road. This song is very much about wanting to be on tour and out on the road.

On A Bee Line‘ was released on September 29th on Americana Vibes, and was produced by Chris Pandolifi of The Infamous Stringdusters.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
