Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival returns next month

The Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival is being held this year at the historic Pijnackerplein in Rotterdam-Noord. With 14,000 visitors in 2018, the three-day music festival is the biggest bluegrass festival in Europe and features an international line-up with both traditional and new bluegrass music, and the best thing is that it’s free. You just need to get over to Rotterdam of course.

This year’s festival is headlined by US acts The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys and The Hackensaw Boys. Lots of boys basically. There’s also Appalachian music from Jerron ‘Blind Boy’ Paxton, one man band legend Scott H Biram and the swampy country blues of The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band. Head over to the official site for more information and tickets.
