The Brother Brothers “On The Road Again” – Listen

Closing out our mini-run of TNMAFS tracks we’re happy to share the latest from The Brother Brothers, who are David and Adam Moss, identical twins born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, and until recently based in Brooklyn, New York.  This ode to the joys of touring is the first release from their new album ‘Calla Lily’ which will be available in the places good music can be found on April 16th.

Whilst this might sound like a Covid lockdown plea to be able to get out playing live music again in fact ‘On the Road Again’ was written before that world was locked down – it’s timely by serendipity but no worse a fit to these days because of that.  Take a listen – and you too will be craving some ticket purchasing action and the simple joy of hearing great music in good company and with maybe a jar or too but, most importantly, live.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
