The East Pointers announce UK dates, new track “Wintergreen” – Listen

We were going to try and claim The East Pointers as another NWOABB, but the Juno Award-winning band are a little too Canadian for that.  And maybe not that Bluegrass either – there’s a vibrant take on modern folk though from fiddler/singer Tim Chaisson, banjoist Koady Chaisson and guitarist Jake Charon who together make up The East Pointers.

And the band have some UK dates planned… for 2020.

Thursday 16th January – Band On The Wall, Manchester
Friday 17th January – Liverpool Philharmonic
Saturday 18th January – Acapela Studio, Cardiff
Sunday 19th January – Bristol Folk House
Monday 20th January – The Lexington, London
Tuesday 21st January – Cambridge Junction

Until these opportunities to catch The EaSt Pointers live take a listen to the uplifting ‘Wintergreen‘.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
