Bedroom is the decade long recording name of Noah Kittinger, and today’s premier comes from the fourth album recorded as Bedroom – it’s called ‘Thread‘ and will be out on April 28th. It’s an album that sees Kittinger reappraising his relationships – both personal and musical and in a business sense as well and coming to some difficult and somewhat disheartening conclusions. Take ‘Better Friends‘ – the pedal steel drenched song finds Kittinger admitting to himself that he wishes he had friends to look out for him instead of encouraging toxic coping mechanisms during times of struggle. That pedal steel, by the by, is played by Bennett Littlejohn.
Speaking of the album Noah Kittinger has said: “This record is the result of many years of dedication to the craft and to continuing this career, of me being pretty creatively lost for a long time and then finding my new self in music that I was searching for. It’s a testament to independent artistry. [Bedroom] isn’t an industry-designed project. ‘Thread’ is a very organic body of work that is the result of many years of just pushing.”
