‘All Is Well‘ is the final song on Diane Coll’s latest album, her fourth release, entitled ‘Up From The Mud,’ which will be out on January 7th 2025. The album follows a path through a relational trauma starting from its inception with the title track and guiding listeners through the muck and mire, leading them through to hope on the final track. Diane Coll told Americana UK that: “Shadow and light exist together, always. To embrace that one does not exist without the other, and that pain and joy are an inevitable part of the human experience, can be very freeing and deepen inner peace. This song gives voice to the dark and the light that can be seen as one journeys up from the mud to healing.”
Originally from Chicago and raised on a steady, eclectic diet of 70’s AM/FM radio, Diane Coll found her way to Georgia in the early ’90s, propelled by a desire to soak up the thriving music scenes in Athens and Atlanta. Coll currently lives in the Atlanta area and works as a mental health therapist and on ‘Up From The Mud’ she draws on that background to inform the themes of the album.
