Video Premiere: Doghouse Roses “Why We Fight”

Check out this great video premiere from Scottish duo Doghouse Roses.  It’s the first single from their 4th album, ‘We Are Made of Light’, which grew out of the setlists from their 2018 shows.  Paul Tasker sings harmonies and plays standout guitar and banjo to complement Iona MacDonald’s striking vocals.  On ‘Why We Fight’ the sound is filled out by strings arranged by Pete Harvey and performed by the Pumpkinfield Trio and by Neil Allan’s percussion.  We’re delighted to premiere this modern protest song, through which the duo seek to turn back the tide of populism.
