‘Hasia Dreams’ is the new EP from Jamie Freeman, a set of recordings influenced by his love of 60’s bands like Buffalo Springfield, The Who and The Beatles, charting a psychedelic course through Americana with the help of Larkin Poe among others. This track which Jamie is sharing with AUK this morning features Lucy Powell (Los Feliz) on vocals and co-written with Amy Tudor from Louisville, KY, it’s based on a true story of a Syrian refugee girl separated from her parents and found living in the woods in Serbia. Jamie told us: “From a musical point of view (and visually, obviously) it combines that idea of her escaping into her dreamland, and my love of late 60’s psychedelic rock – a match made in heaven.” The ‘Hasia Dreams’ EP is available from the Union Music Store now.
and Jamie is wearing a beautiful Dandy & Rose shirt! WAY cool!
