The animated video for Seasick Steve’s latest single is simple yet effective. ‘Clock is Running’ is a typically rhythmic, foot-tapping song with some excellent guitar and percussion-work. The video was created during the lockdown – Steve filmed himself on the porch and then the animation was added by New Beach. Stunning air guitar.
It’s a creative way to get around the current restrictions. Seasick says: “Since we all locked up, I was thinking about music. I was supposed to be going on tour, but now I can’t do it. For me, music is all about y’all… it’s about playing for people. I surely miss you all and wish I could be out there playing for you.” Alongside the single, Seasick Steve is building up to the release of his next album on 24th July with live performances from his kitchen every Sunday. ‘Love & Peace’ promises more boogie blues. Long-time fans won’t be disappointed.
