Big Thief “Red Moon”
It is 45 years since the Dead released the acoustic live album Reckoning. Gillian Welch and David Rawlings are currently touring the US with a show based on this sublime album.
@martinjohnson I caught them on the fourth date of the tour a few nights ago at Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw, NC. Highly recommended if’n anyone has an opportunity to see them on this tour. Though there was indeed some extended jamming it’s always refreshing to see the more folksy/rootsy side of the Dead highlighted.
