I just bought, on vinyl, a reissue of Bill Kirchen's 'Hammer Of The Honky Tonk Gods', originally released back in 2007. It's a cracking album and features Nick Lowe on bass and Geraint Watkins on keyboards.
It would great to get some feedback from the Americana community about our latest release "Anywhere is Home" or any of the other tracks we have released.

Had not come across this before, great album
It quickly made it into my Top 10 favorite albums of all time shortly after being invited to see them at the Pour House in Raleigh, NC when the album had just been released. I’d heard of them, mainly through Grayson Haver Currin’s pieces on them in a local alt-weekly called The Independent but I wasn’t prepared for just how much I would love them. I was mesmerized.

Glad to see a fellow Frontier Ruckus fan on the forum. I first heard them on the AUK monthly CD a few years back and been a fan ever since. Will put the latest one, "On the Northline" on the weekend playlist.
They entered my radar thanks to an opening slot for Samantha Crain at Berkeley Cafe in Raleigh, NC around the time The Orion Songbook had first been released. I’m pretty sure they were label mates at the time.
