Mason Via “Colarado” – Westward bound

Mason Via is the latest recruit to Old Crow Medicine Show, he’s also recently made his Grand Ole Opry debut with the band and was a Top 40 finalist on American Idol.  Obviously someone with time on his hands, he recently signed to Mountain Fever Records for a solo album of all original music.  The album’s out soon and ‘Colarado’ is the second single from it.  It’s a powerfully fast bluegrass number that eulogises that most popular of states, the wide open spaces and the Rocky Mountains.

Mason Via is ably assisted by  Thomas Cassell on mandolin; Nick Goad on Tenor Harmony Vocals; Jacob Harbour on Baritone Harmony Vocals; Alex Genova on banjo; Sam Wiess on fiddle; and Ben Somerville on bass.  It’s a song to make you forget about Autumnal days and want to head for the hills.
