Welcome once again to ‘The Twang Factor’. Our guests this week are Milton Keynes based duo Hope in High Water who play what they describe as “a distinctly British take on acoustic americana” – and that’s not just a reference to the weather on view in the background of their video! Incorporating folk, blues and country, the duo of Josh Morris and Carly Slade have created something quite special. When we received their submission, we instantly put them on the ‘definite’ pile, so captivated were we by their performance. The pair have already toured the UK in support slots for Nikki Lane, Willie Watson and the late Justin Townes Earle.
