Track Premiere: Arwen Lewis “Winter”

It’s worth Winter hanging on a little longer if it is going to gift us songs like this new release from Arwen Lewis.  It’s a slow and moody ballad of wanting enforced closeness, the kind that blizzards force on a couple.  It’s taken from Arwen Lewis’ new EP, ‘Under the Stars’, which will be released on April 28th on Omad Records.

It’s a follow up to her debut album of 2015 – which featured reinterpretations of her father’s songs: her father is Peter Lewis of Moby Grape fame.  The new EP features songs by Jackson Browne and Joni Mitchell and a new song penned by her father – but this first single is an Arwen Lewis original .
