Andrea and Mud serve up two new music videos with ‘This Time/Welcome to Blue Skies’. A short film that contains the two videos starts off with a voice over that sounds like Sam Elliot in ‘The Big Lebowski’ as we enter a dive bar where Andrea is tending bar and Mud is in the house band.  ‘This Time’ evokes classic Loretta Lynn with lonesome pedal steel and a baritone guitar solo.

“I come from a generation where we didn’t take medication,” says Andrea. “We didn’t go to therapy. We were supposed to just smile and get through it. I think a lot of people still live like that. Music is therapy for some people. I know it is for me.”

Between songs we see the duo get into a scrap outside the bar and speed off in a rusty old Chevy pickup truck.    ‘Welcome to Blue Skies’ features Mud’s booming voice and a TexMex groove straight from the streets of Bakersfield.  A mariachi trio accompanies the duo as they perform in a farm field.

The duo is scheduled to tour throughout the USA for the remainder of 2024.
