Jesse Malin’s latest album, ‘Sunset Kids’ was produced by Lucinda Williams and her husband, Tom Overby. The resulting sound is very much in the vein of Williams’ new edgy release, ‘Good Souls Better Angels’, with its distorted guitar and attitude. On this single, Williams and Malin sing an excellent atmospheric duet, which is accompanied by an animated video created by Alex Rosas. It’s great to see sleazy city backdrops realised in such colour and with such flair, alongside the brilliantly designed images of Malin and Williams performing together. This is great fun.
