Without Willow “Sink My Teeth” – it’s called self-defence

Without Willow are a singer-songwriter duo who lean towards the folkier end of Americana.  This new song  features the intricate guitar playing of Simon McCafferty and the haunting, heartfelt vocals of Karen Kelly.  Without Willow hail out of Donegal, and released their debut album, ‘Left Behind‘, in early 2024.

Karen says of today’s song that “I think a lot of us try to keep the peace in difficult times, often at the expense of our own well-being. The song is a way of saying, it’s okay to stand up for yourself when you have to.”

Without Willow headline a show at Lifford Old Courthouse, Co Donegal, on April 12th, 2025, with plans for an Autumn Tour later in the year.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
